Some really awesome stuff happening in POWER for the spring/summer season!
POWER has added Saturday classes back on the schedule. For the month of May the Saturday class will be in the studio. ZENERGY Fuzion will be offered at 8:00am. Beginning June 1, back by popular demand, BOOTCAMP in the park at 8:00am! Just like last summer, BOOTCAMP is open to both genders! So grab your hubby, sig other, brother, bff, etc. and join in the fun!!! Please make sure to check the monthly schedule for classes.
June will also see some new changes to the schedule, Friday 9:30am Triple Play will go on summer hiatus and instead we're please to offer Friday 6am YOGA!! No better way to start the week end off then with a little om in your life. This yoga practice will have more of a "meditation/reflection" feel to it. So come prepared to open your heartlight and let the energy pour in!
Tired of the same 'ol GNO?? Trade in your chips and salsa for chatarunga and savasana! Or how about instead of indulging in heavy apps you get your besties together for some heavy ropes? POWER is excited to offer an alternative to GNO, birthday parties, dinner club, book club etc. With over 24 years of fitness/wellness/balance coaching/nutritional experience we are pleased to offer a variety of classes and lecture topics designed to motivate, educate and eliminate (excuses!!!). Your emPOWERment Party will consist of an hour workout of your choice and an hour of lecture. Workout options range from yoga, HIIT (high intensity interval training), TRX, body weight training, functional lifting for life, bootcamp, Sandbell/bag training, fight class using heavy bags and gloves, fusion classes, no excuse workouts, and kettlebell classes. Lecture topics range from debunking fitness myths, how hormones and metabolism affect training for females, eliminating "mommy guilt", paradigm shift from comparison and competitoin with other women to inspiration, clean eating 101, sticks and stones will break bones but names CAN hurt you (how negative self talk sabotages your best efforts at maintaining a consistent fitness program), workout programming 101 (how to design the most effective and efficient workout program that will leave you in optimal health with MORE time to spend doing what you love!), motivation 101, and so many more!!
